I've been lucky enough to have worked on multiple different projects for Tinder's social media over the years, invited in by Spring the Agency, from one-off trend reactive posts, to full campaigns, and even created an animated gameshow video for a live podcast show at the O2.
Chet Lo x Tinder collaboration
Series of animated stories to drive awareness of the new collaboration between Chet Lo (fashion designer), and Tinder. The brief asked that I break out of the usual Tinder branding, so finding an edgier font paired with glitchy typographic motion felt like a step on and more inline with Chet Lo's identity.
New visual identity on social
Tinder approached Spring the Agency in early 2024 wanting to revamp their social presence with the goal to feel more user centric and playful. Their current socials were strict to the brand; using only their pink and orange gradient, and their brand font, Proxima Nova. I proposed an easy going, handwritten font to be overlayed on their photography but in a way that flows with the image.
This made their feed feel more relaxed and on the pulse with social trends, especially around UGC.
Matchmaker launch
The launch of the Matchmaker feature was a BIG one for Tinder. Ahead of the curve in untraditional dating methods, by being able to invite your friends to help you swipe. I was asked to create an animated carousel to promote this new feature. Using neon colours to create excitement, and leaning into the UI of this feature, I created a series of animations showcasing how it works from a user's point of view.
Skate Dates at Somerset House
Back in 2023, Tinder hosted Skate Dates at Somerset House, I designed the print ads along with creating an animated social posts to promote the event.
What Would Madame Joyce Do? Live Podcast
Madame Joyce, an influencer and podcaster, teamed up with Tinder to host a live podcast at the O2. I was asked to create an interactive game that the audience could join in with.
